ICEBREAKER TOURNAMENT DATE: Saturday, March 22 TIME: AM Shotgun ENTRY FEE: $45 ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Full Golf Members PRIZES: Gross / Net TEE: Must be identified by Thursday March 21 (Default is White Tees) HANDICAP: 25% A + 20%B +15%C+10%D SCORE: Do Not Post FOOD: Breakfast FORMAT: Men’s Division – Walk-away scramble. The 4-person teams will each be comprised of an A, B, C, & D player. All teams will be computer generated based on handicaps. All members of the team tee off and the best drive of the four tee shots is selected. Two drives will be required from each player. All players move their golf balls to the spot of the selected drive (within one club length and no closer to the hole in the same conditions). From this point, everyone except the person whose drive was used plays the 2nd shot. This process will continue until the ball is on the green where all 4 players can putt. Ties will be broken using the recommended USGA method. Ladies’ Division - Team scramble. Teams are made up of A, B, C, & D players as determined by the Golf Shop. All four players hit their tee shots. The best of the tee shots is selected. All players then play their second shots from the spot where the best tee shot landed (within one club length and not closer to the hole in the same conditions). The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from the spot where the best second shot landed and so on, until the ball is holed out. The lowest team score wins.
